Maurice’s dedication to Civic Engagement and helping those in need is admirable. He helps stock local food pantries, he organizes drives for warm winter clothing, he tutors his fellow students, and he raises funds for other worthy projects and charities throughout the year. His studies in Paralegal will afford him the opportunity to continue assisting low-income residents of our community. Maurice is an inspiring college student leader who has demonstrated an investment in finding solutions for challenges facing our community such as hunger and food insecurity in our service area.

Thanks to Campus Compact for all that you have done over the years to nurture the campus service and service-learning movement. When we started at St. A's 15 years ago there was a feeling among some campuses that we were seeing higher education's latest 'flash in the pan.' Instead it was the beginning of a revolution of ideas and relationships, and you guys have been fueling us all the way.
