Travis White, a sophomore at California State Northridge majoring in Criminology, is a student leader who actively looks for ways to bring students together to help those in need and make students aware of pertinent issues facing the community. For the past two years, he has worked with Unified We Serve to create innovate service projects for his fellow college students. Travis is dedicated to pursuing a career that will help better the lives of others.

I have always had a drive to serve others and work for the common good. But I never fully realized that I could go beyond volunteerism--that my opinion and hard work could influence policy decisions. My views changed when I sat in the office of one of my legislators in Washington, DC.
