Alikiah Barclay, a second year student at Duke University, is a student leader active in issues of education and sustainability. For the past two years he has worked with the America Reads and America Counts program, a national initiative, serving as a tutor and currently as a head tutor. With Clean Energy of Durham, a local non-profit, Alikiah has worked on sustainability issues in the community and on Duke’s campus. He is also involved in a selective living group called Ubuntu which houses students interested in social change.
