Since Chandler LeBoeuf arrived on campus, he has been instrumental in advocating for student and community needs. As a strong advocate for long-term civic engagement, Chandler led a transformation of our student government association into a nationally recognized community action-based organization. Through his leadership, Our Lady of the Lake students are engaged in a myriad of civic engagement projects in support of the Greater Baton Rouge that will have lasting impact on the community and on nonprofit partnerships with the college. In addition to local service, Chandler is also involved in public policy change through his work with the Tobacco-Free-Living College Coalition Team which is committed to reducing the number of Louisiana youth who smoke through legislative actions.
