Maggie Dunne is a sophomore at Colgate University. She is a team leader for Project PEACE (Pine Ridge Aid for Children), a COVE volunteer team affiliate of Maggie’s own NGO, the Lakota Pine Ridge Children’s Enrichment Project. The Lakota nation, which the Lakota Pine Ridge Children’s Enrichment Project works to support, is one of the most disadvantaged Native American populations in the country. She has become a recognized leader on campus through support and advocacy of the Lakota nation.
