Proposal Evaluation

Site Visits

Site visits are a common part of proposal assessment for many classes. Visits to nonprofits provide students with an opportunity to interview leaders, see the organization first-hand, and collect additional information. Typically, nonprofits are contacted through phone or letter with a request for a site visit and are always followed up with an acknowledgement of the time dedicated to the visit. Site visits provide another opportunity to involve nonprofit leaders as co-educators. Sample site visit protocols:
