Brief Biography:
Diane Podolske, Ph.D. is the Director of Community-University Partnerships at California State University, San Bernardino. She has over a decade of experience in volunteer management from two uniquely different higher education institutions. At the University of Nebraska, she developed a comprehensive service learning program that included a service learning scholarship funded by an international corporation, a web-based registry of volunteer needs at regional CBOs, a faculty training series in service learning pedagogy, and a community networking program. She currently leads a two campus service learning initiative that includes both academic and co-curricular service learning. Dr. Podolske has delivered more than 400 training workshops on service learning, team building, volunteer recruitment and retention, campus-community involvement, and service recognition programs. She has multiple years of experience in project and budget management, including federal and state grant administration. Dr. Podolske's degree is in Educational Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
