Collin College joins firefighter appreciation program

Collin College has stepped up to join a statewide initiative that will show Texas firefighters how much the people they protect appreciate them.

The school joined the Texas Campus Compact (TCC), an educational nonprofit organization that strives to strengthen higher education through community involvement, in its program, “Live, Learn, Serve, Remember,” which challenges Texans to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 by filling out Firefighter Appreciation e-cards for fire departments in their area.
