GVSU students honored with Carter award for work with energy efficient homes

Grand Valley State University students are being recognized for a community partnership that led to special houses for low-income families.

The projects earned the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Partnership Award for Campus-Community Collaboration, which carries a hefty $10,000 prize. The award for is given bi-annually by Michigan Campus Compact to one partnership involving a Michigan college or university and a community group working together in to improve lives and enhance learning.
