Dr. Tracy Espy, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Pfeiffer University, has been named editor of the new publication Partnerships: A Journal of Service-Learning and Civic Engagement.

Espy said the journal and web site will focus on theories and practices that inform and improve partnerships, connections and collaborations. Collaborating universities include Elon, Appalachian State and Pfeiffer…. [The journal] is an initiative sponsored by N.C. Campus Compact, a coalition of colleges and universities that work to increase campus-wide participation in community and public service.
