Dennison, McGlynn to receive governor’s humanities honors

Two well-known University of Montana leaders are among the five Montanans recently named as recipients of the 2009 Governor’s Humanities Awards: UM president George M. Dennison and former philosophy professor Fred McGlynn….

In Dennison’s case, that achievement came largely through his efforts to engage the campus community with broader local communities through the Montana Campus Compact, a statewide higher education consortium.
