Providence, RI — Campus Compact is pleased to announce that it has joined the team of Program Advisors for Learn and Serve America’s National Service-Learning Clearinghouse as advisor for the Higher Education sector. Because commitment to excellence and collaboration across service-learning audiences is critical to a vital Clearinghouse, Program Advisors provide NSLC with sector-specific guidance and expertise. Campus Compact, like all NSLC Program Advisors, was selected for this role because of the high quality research, practice, and advocacy they bring to the service-learning community. Leading Campus Compact’s efforts for NSLC will be Maureen F. Curley, president of the national Campus Compact organization, and Julie Plaut, head of Campus Compact’s national academic initiatives.
“Campus Compact is delighted at the opportunity to collaborate more closely with the Clearinghouse in supporting and advancing the great work being done by Learn and Serve grantees and others across the country,” notes Plaut. “This partnership is particularly exciting because working together will result in more robust resources for the entire field of service-learning.”
