The article highlights some of our Learn and Serve subgrantees and demonstrates the impact that service-learning has on students and our communities in Rhode Island.  It also showcases effective school-college partnerships that are so important to our work.  Don’t miss the information on side bar and throughout the article that will take you to more projects, resources and links!

Special thanks to Jill Glickman, Lead LSA Consultant, who put the article together along with the project leads and partners who where interviewed by and supplied information to Jill.  In August, this article will be featured on our PK-16 Partnerships for Success website and sent out to almost 1,000 school, college and community contacts across the state.  Go here for more information on Learn and Serve America.
