On Nov. 8-9, Western Kentucky University will host the Kentucky Engagement Conference for the first time since the conference began in 2006.

The conference brings together academic administrators, faculty, staff and students to share best practices and learn trending ideas related to community engagement, service-learning, civic health, community-based research, and related topics. The location of the Kentucky Engagement Conference changes each year as it rotates between Kentucky’s regional universities. The conference is planned by the host school with the assistance of the statewide planning committee consisting of representatives from the eight Kentucky universities (WKU, Eastern Kentucky University, Northern Kentucky University, Murray State University, Morehead State University, University of Louisville, University of Kentucky, and Kentucky State University), Kentucky Campus Compact, the Council on Postsecondary Education, and the Kentucky’s Secretary of State’s office.
