Students wishing to earn academic credit and a certificate at graduation for mentoring experiences are offered three academic credits in a course series designed to provide:?
1.? a history of mentoring activities at not only Marian College but also in Indiana and other states?
2.? a description of the types of mentoring relationships available in various professions?
3.? skill-building exercises in communication, conflict management and other essentials of mentoring relationships?
4.? an opportunity to receive guidance and support from a faculty/staff /alumnus/a mentor while engaged in a special project related to mentoring
