Recognition as a way of keeping track

College of Eastern Utah - UT, Utah

Small forms of recognition can reinforce enthusiasm for service on campus at the same time as they provide reason for students to report and keep track of their service hours. At the College of Eastern Utah, students decorate one wall of the Main Hall on campus with their painted handprints and the number of hours they have served. Every student who works more than a set number of hours receives a t-shirt further recognizing his or her efforts.

Our residency program in Family Medicine is structured on a reflective practice frame, and your website was tremendously helpful to me in refining our Community Medicine curriculum this year. Thanks!"
