Citizenship and Service Learning Program

Southwest Missouri State University - MO, Missouri

Citizenship and Service Learning Program serves as the vehicle through which Southwest Missouri State University enacts its statewide public affairs mission. The program helps to connect classroom learning with service learning in the community. Students perform at least 40 hours of service related to course content which benefits external social service agencies. Students may receive an additional credit hour for the learning they demonstrate as a result of their volunteer work.
