The Millennium Project: Careers That Make a Difference

Cleveland State University - OH, Ohio

The Millennium Project is an annual conference which aims to increase high school students’ interest in careers in public service. It is sponsored by the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University and the Cleveland-Marshall School of Law.

At the conference 300 students attend panels on topics such as city planning, government and elections, and community development. Additonal plans for the project include linking it more closely to civics and American government curricula at local high schools, preparing supplementary material for high school teachers, and developing a companion career guide.
