The Leadership Initiative is a joint initiative of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s Univesity and seeks to nurture the development of individuals who will practice ethical leadership. More than 85% of the student body participates in co-curricular programs including National Global Leadership Week and fireside chats on leadership. Leadership education is embedded in both the residential life experience and the student employment experiences. The W.K. Kellogg Foundation has recognized the Leadership Initiative as one of eight exemplary leadership programs in the country.
