Encouraging girls in science, high school: Day in the Lab

Hampshire College - MA, Massachusetts

Hampshire College helps to encourage female participation in the predominantly male sciences by annually sponsoring a Day in the Lab. In the spring, female faculty and students at the college host a contingent of girls from area high schools for a day of hands-on science experiments and presentations. Female students lead the day s format and events.
