The president has been directly responsive to the questions raised in the Campus Assessment of Civic Responsibility regarding presidential leadership. A letter from the president to the entire campus community reflects decisions made with him by all the vice-presidents and deans. It identifies as a priority PSU s “”having a pervasive impact on the community as we engage in community-based learning and research that serves the city and beyond.”" That priority is further translated into “”PSU s Strategic Resource Management Principles”" that guide budget decisions.
