Since 1999 the university has held a Saturday Academy for students who score below grade level. This program offers tutoring and mentoring in the areas of Reading and Math. The university students serve as tutors/mentors. We also offer parental components. Parents attend once a month and are provided workshops on how to help their child succeed.
