The goals of the service learning collaborative were to raise awareness of service learning on campus, provide training and technical assistance to interested faculty, and to act as a catalyst for obtaining funds to support service learning.
The collaborative developed a survey to determine the level of service learning awareness on campus and put together a brochure for faculty that answers the basic questions about service learning. Lunch time forums brought faculty together to talk about the technical aspects of service learning. The collaborative also disseminated grant money for faculty to develop service learning program.
