Health education: Controlling Stress and Tension course

The service-learning component in Controlling Stress and Tension, a health education course at the University of Maryland, College Park, allows students to apply their learning to help the local community. Students have taught everyone from elementary school children to cancer patients to volunteer firefighters how to better handle the tensions associated with their lives.
