Ethnic Conflict and Models of Multiethnic Cooperation

Pitzer College - CA, California

This political participation grant funded “”Ethnic Conflict and Models of Multiethnic Cooperation”", a service learning class for Pitzer College students which encouraged participating students to conduct research on multicultural curriculum and ethnic conflict resolution programs. The course also provided students with a unique opportunity to help the Alhambra School District to assess the effectiveness of its policies for dealing with racial and ethnic conflict.

The excellent materials and networking opportunities Campus Compact has provided have played an important role in helping us build an engaged campus."

-Robert J. Birgeneau, Chancellor, University of California, Berkeley
