This white paper, from New York Campus Compact (NYCC), was prepared by a team of attorneys, faculty, and risk-management administrators, including three experts from NYCC member campuses. It provides practical and technical advice on identifying risks in off-campus activities, legal and insurance considerations, and numerous risk-management techniques. It also provides templates for learning agreements, confidentiality, insurance, risk analysis, and internship agreements.
