Community Service Learning Center Coordinator, Community Service Learning Center, California State University-Long Beach, Long Beach, CA

The Community Service Learning Center Coordinator facilitates the management of the Community Service Learning Center.

Duties include:

  • provide assistance to the Director, Associate Director, and faculty with planning and organizing program development workshops, seminars, grant applications, etc.;
  • assist in working with nonprofit community agencies to negotiate volunteer placement for CSULB students;
  • design flyers, prepares payment schedules and forms;
  • adapt assessment forms from assessment templates and then computes the assessment results;
  • assist with the Center’s budget, maintain ledgers, monitor balances, and evaluate and process routine expenditures;
  • provide administrative support through scheduling and providing workshops and events for faculty and staff.
  • distribute and produce correspondence and flyers as well as the oversee the development, updating, and maintenance of the Center’s records, files, and accounts.
