Under the supervision of the Service Programs Director, the Coordinator of the Office of Community-Based Learning is responsible for the daily operations and functions of the office.

The coordinator serves as the primary advocate and communications source for service learning and other community-based learning programs to the campus community as well as to the surrounding community.

This position:

• facilitates ongoing support and leadership direction of the service learning task force which provides insight and direction in the implementation of the comprehensive campus service learning program;
• develops and manages community-based learning databases; oversees the budget;
• develops and maintains policies and procedures relevant to service and service learning programs; and
• prepares written reports relating to grant administration.
