Director of Community-Based Learning, Portland State University, Portland, OR

The Director of Community-Based Learning at Portland State University is responsible for:

  • supporting faculty to integrate community-based learning into the curriculum;
  • facilitating partnerships between the community and the university as they relate to community-based learning; assisting faculty scholarship in community engagement; and
  • identifying and seeking public and private sources of funding to support community-based learning; fostering communication with each school/college on campus as it relates to community-based learning.

The Director is further expected to maintain and enhance national visibility around PSU and community-based learning activities as well as provide leadership for PSU’s regional and national partnership initiatives.
