The Faculty Director of the Lasell College Center for Public Service provides leadership in overseeing curricular and non-curricular based community service-learning initiatives. Reporting directly to the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, the CPS Director recruits and works with faculty across the disciplines in designing and implementing course-based service-learning projects; explores and negotiates project collaborations with other on-campus departments (e.g., student affairs, student activities); works extensively with area community based organizations in developing and monitoring community service and service-learning opportunities; oversees student staff and interns who help coordinate community service and service-learning initiatives; writes proposals for and administers CPS grants; and engages in other promotional and administrative activity in connection with the Center.
