Rhode Island Campus Compact (RICC) is a statewide coalition of colleges and universities committed to teaching the values of civic engagement and public leadership. Rhode Island Campus Compact actively promotes public and community service as vital components of higher education. Through innovative student, faculty and institutional participation in service, higher education can meet its public trust to inspire an active, responsible and committed citizenry while helping to address community needs. RICC encourages civic discourse and debate and assists higher education institutions in the creation of partnerships with the community.

Announcing the 2010-2011 VISTA Member Campuses
RICC is pleased to announce the 2010-2011 VISTA Host Campuses. Eight VISTAs will be joining the 7th RI Campus Compact VISTA Corps. Host Campuses include: Brown University, Johnson & Wales University, Providence College, Rhode Island School of Design, Salve Regina University and the University of Rhode Island. Blackstone Academy Charter School in Pawtucket will also receive a VISTA member.
