Learn and Serve America: School to College to Public Leadership
Rhode Island Campus Compact is proud to announce being awarded highly competitive 2006 Learn and Serve America Higher Education funds. The consortia grant with Massachusetts Campus Compact supports 16 institutions of higher education in both states focused on creating strategic and sustainable campus-community partnerships focused on the needs of underserved youth in the region. Specifically, the partnerships seek to create and enhance active citizenship programs that focus on K-12 academic success, youth development, access to a college education, preparation for civic leadership, and/or connections between civic and workforce skill development.
