Submit Your Syllabi:
If you are teaching a course that is designed to make connections between understanding key historical documents of American history and community service experiences that enhance the learning of American history, we would welcome having you submit your syllabi to be posted on the Campus Compact web site. We will post syllabi that have:

  • Clear quality characteristics for effective service-learning, and
  • Clearly articulated civic learning goals aimed at deepening students’ understanding of history by connecting it to service experiences and at the same time deepen understanding of the context for community service by connecting it to a deeper historical context.

To submit your syllabus please email a copy to Julie Elkins or send a hard copy to:

Thanks to Campus Compact for all that you have done over the years to nurture the campus service and service-learning movement. When we started at St. A's 15 years ago there was a feeling among some campuses that we were seeing higher education's latest 'flash in the pan.' Instead it was the beginning of a revolution of ideas and relationships, and you guys have been fueling us all the way."
