Worldcom Professional Development Institutes
In partnership with the Institute for Elementary and Secondary Education (IESE), we were able to put together yearly 2-1/2-day Institutes. The main purpose of the Institutes is to:
• create a sense of collegiality and collaboration between team members and among teams
• clarify project goals
• set short and long-term benchmarks that can be used for project and program evaluation
• identify program resources (Campus Compact, the IESE, WorldCom, and among projects)
• introduce and develop core philosophies regarding civic engagement and educational technology
• discuss expectations, sustainability, and timelines for the project, and how they fit with other initiatives of Campus Compact
• plan evaluation, documentation and reporting.
