HEDEX Project Manager

Alisa Jimenéz has robust experience in project and program management across the international policy, humanitarian, and nonprofit sectors. She currently serves as the HEDEX Project Manager at Campus Compact, where she leads strategic planning and execution of the new HEDEX Platform.

Previously, Alisa worked at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), where she managed strategy and project planning for a team focused on delivering technical assistance and training to those working with newcomers.

Alisa’s background also includes her role as a Project Manager at the Center for Policing Equity, where she oversaw large-scale data analysis and tool development for communities advocating for public safety reform, as well as her work at NYU’s Center on International Cooperation with the Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just & Inclusive Societies, where she advanced global access to justice initiatives.

She has successfully led multi-stakeholder partnerships, launched youth-focused justice programs, and completed fellowships at the IRC’s Airbel Impact Lab and the UNDP, focusing on innovation, research, and program development in humanitarian contexts.

Alisa holds a master’s degree in International Affairs with a specialization in conflict and security from The New School, where her thesis explored the intersection of security and refugee policy in the former Yugoslavia. She also holds a dual bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Anthropology from the University of Rochester. Alisa is passionate about co-creating equitable systems with communities and building programs that are inclusive, responsive, and transformative.
