Senior Grants Specialist
Throughout their career, Nat Gaudette has had the pleasure of helping nonprofits, large and small, partner with federal, state, corporate, local, community-based, and private funders. Nat has secured and managed multi-million dollar grants for initiatives in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, education, child welfare, and workforce development.
Nat believes strongly in the intersectionality of nonprofit work. They spent time on the frontlines of service work as a caseworker for a family-centered home visiting program, a coordinator for a DCF-based mentoring program, a behavioral specialist in a middle school, and a program manager for an infectious disease team at a federally qualified health center before gravitating toward funding procurement. Prior to specializing in grants, Nat also ran fundraising campaigns to cultivate private contributions from individuals and corporate partners. This array of experiences informs the way Nat interacts with colleagues, partners, and funders.
Nat earned their Master’s in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy from Bay Path University and their Bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Connecticut. They have a Web Design Certificate from Cornell as well as a Family Development Credential from the University of Connecticut.
A proud autistic poet and queer activist, Nat enjoys using a blend of data and art to engage people in neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ spaces.
