Matt Van Hoose

Matt Van Hoose serves as Associate Vice President of Global, Career, and Community-Based Learning at Goucher College, where he is also an Assistant Professor of Anthropology. In his current role, Matt has been fortunate to lead the formation of a new university retirement community with Edenwald Retirement Community, drawing on the ethos and resources of Goucher's Community-Based Learning office.

Matt has facilitated connections between higher education and community partners throughout his career in higher education, including in previous roles at Howard Community College, the National Humanities Alliance, Central Carolina Community College, and the Indiana University Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
