What is CCEC Connecticut?

Campus Compact EnviroCorps Connecticut (CCEC CT) is a statewide AmeriCorps Connecticut program dedicated to campus-based, community-led environmental stewardship efforts. EnviroCorps works with colleges, universities, and their community partners to conduct basic home assessments, organize nature conservation projects and implement environmental education events in local communities. Combined, these activities help increase home energy efficiency, cost savings and comfort; advance the health and well-being of our natural environment; and increase knowledge and motivation to make a positive difference for the planet.

Apply to serve as a CCEC CT AmeriCorps Member!

Campus Compact EnviroCorps is the first nationwide AmeriCorps program solely dedicated to campus-based, community-led environmental stewardship efforts. CCEC empowers colleges, universities and their community partners to lead in advancing energy efficiency, nature conservation and environmental education through local solutions. Following a year-long planning process, Campus Compact was awarded a state-specific grant from Serve Connecticut to launch Campus Compact EnviroCorps Connecticut in September of 2024.
