The Campus Compact EnviroCorps program is pleased to announce that applications are open for member campuses to host AmeriCorps members to support environmental stewardship projects during the 2025-2026 academic year.
By connecting AmeriCorps members with campuses and community partners to facilitate energy efficiency interventions, nature conservation, and environmental educational events, EnviroCorps works to advance the health and well-being of our natural environment.
About Campus Compact EnviroCorps
EnviroCorps is the first nationwide AmeriCorps program dedicated to campus-based, community-led sustainability efforts. EnviroCorps works with colleges, universities, and their community partners to implement low-tech energy efficiency interventions, organize nature conservation projects, and facilitate community education events.
The EnviroCorps program provides a meaningful opportunity for campuses to host a team of AmeriCorps members to improve energy efficiency, natural habitats through activities such as tree planting and invasive species removal, community education, and more.
AmeriCorps members will also help to enhance capacity-building and volunteer engagement for this important work on campuses and in communities. EnviroCorps provides each AmeriCorps member with training, near-peer support, a living allowance or stipend, and professional development opportunities throughout their service term.
